KANSAS CITY – Kansas City Fire Department responded to a residential fire today at approximately 10:30 a.m. at 115 S Wheeling, a block south of St. John Avenue.
The blaze was contained and put out shortly. The home was abandoned, and no one was inside at the time of the fire.
Earlier this morning, they also responded to another house fire on 12th and Bennington.
The cause of the fires are unknown as investigation is ongoing.
