KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Five historic homes in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood opened their doors to the public this past Saturday for the neighborhood’s ninth annual Holiday Homes Tour.

Throughout the day, a little over 400 people toured the homes and art market located at the Scuola Vita Nuova charter school at Independence and Garfield. Her Highness the Queen of Northeast, a.k.a. Linda Fleischman was thrilled with the turnout.

“Its not so much about the numbers as it is getting great exposure to potential new neighbors,” Fleischman said.

Tour attendees were able to see homes completely renovated and restored, as well as a home on Brooklyn Avenue that is currently undergoing renovations.
