Harold Dellinger

It is with great sadness that we learn of the unexpected passing of Harold Dellinger.

Harold will be known to many of you. He had a keen interest in outlaws and lawmen and his knowledge of both was extensive. As a small print publisher, Harold made it possible for us to access volumes long out of print. He was the editor of “Jesse James – The Best Writings on the Notorious Outlaw and his Gang” as well as a similar volume on Billy the Kid. A former parole officer of Kansas City, Harold was always a gentleman, organized local historical events and was associated with many local organizations, including his role as a Friends of the James Farm Board Member.

Harold will be missed greatly by many and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
