KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Is there a restaurant or beverage you haven’t gotten around to sampling just yet in the City Market?

Well you will soon have your chance to try almost 20 food and beverage samplings during the upcoming Grub Crawl.

A play off of the traditional pub crawl, a Grub Crawl is a way to experience the eclectic food scene in the historic City Market and River Market areas. For one night, you’ll get your chance to taste and try some of the finest food Kansas City has to offer.

Culinary adventurers must purchase a “Passport to Dine” that will be their ticket to a free taste or small plate from participating restaurants. Each restaurant has selected a dish that best represents their culinary point of view. The Grub Crawl will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.

Participating restaurants include (more may be added):

– Babycakes

– Lollicup Tea

– Minsky’s Pizza

– Nguyen Pho

– Opera House
