Serving a Thanksgiving meal at the Don Bosco Senior Center has become a tradition for Ameristar employees and their families.

“We want to give back to the community because it’s the right thing to do,” said Celeste Burks, public relations manager for Ameristar. “As a group we get to give thanks to each other and celebrate Thanksgiving. It’s a huge honor to be able to come (to Don Bosco).”

Ameristar is now in its seventh year of providing and serving a Thanksgiving meal to Don Bosco seniors. On Nov. 15, Ameristar served up the traditional Thanksgiving fixings of turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, salads, dessert and more.
