Residents from around the Kansas City metro will see historical craftsmanship firsthand during the Northeast Kansas City Historical Society (NEKCHS) Fall Homes Tour Oct. 20.

Instead of focusing on one Northeast neighborhood, the tour will highlight homes in Pendleton Heights, Indian Mound and the Scarritt Renaissance neighborhoods.

Homes on tour date back to the 1880s, all the way up to the 1940s. Attendees will witness architecture styles ranging from Victorian to Edwardian, from opulent to quaint.

The tour will be held from noon to 5 p.m. and tickets are $15. NEKCHS members receive a $2 discount. Tickets may be purchased online at www.nekchs.com. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event at the sales tent, 1851 Pendleton Ave.

For questions, call (816) 221-9245 or email board@nekchs.com.
