Esther L. Redanz 99, of Kansas City, MO died at the Hidden Lake Care Center at 10:55 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2019. She was born on December 14, 1919.

She was proceeded in death by her Mother Magdalena Scheremaer-Reppee and father Daniel Krein, husband Walter Redanz; her sisters Alice Johnson, Christina (Betty) Hake, Maggie Ollila, brothers Daniel Krein, Phillip Krein, Johnny Krein, son Delroy (Devon) Clauson, Grandchildren: Lola Wallberg, Steve (Chris) K. Walker, Natalie Meade and Michael Clauson. She is survived by her sister Lilly Sagmoe, daughter Bettie Wallberg; Grandchildren Jane Wallberg, Gloria Holzer, Vicki Wallberg-Barfus, Diane (Kelly) Spainhower, Hilda (Bob) Spence, Cindy Clauson, and Randy Clauson: great grandchildren, Cherie (Darrell) Alexander; Donald Ferris, Robert (Nadine) Ferris, Jacy (Roger) Navarro, Christopher (Sarah) Rodriguez, and Michael Rodriguez; Great-great grandchildren Jordan Alexander, Jada Alexander, Jason Alexander, Jalen Alexander, Damien Ferris, Annabelle Ferris, Ayden Ferris, Dennis Ferris, Shelbie Dunbar, Ava Navarro, Emma Rodriguez, and Atticus Rodriguez and many, many other out of state great-great grandchildren, nieces nephews and cousins.

Esther was a long-time resident of Kansas City, MO (Northeast neighborhood); where she lived since leaving her birth home of Goodrich, North Dakota in her younger years. She built many relationships within the community. She opened her heart and home to many families with daycare and laundry services.

She loved her hobbies: family, gardening, baking and watching wrestling with her grandchildren, traveling and camping. She crocheted in her spare time making numerous gifts for her family and friends.

She will be missed deeply by all those that knew and loved her.

The Visitation is at 11:00-12:00, Services starting at 12:00 PM, June 20, 2019, at Charter Funeral Home, 5000 Blueridge Cutoff, Kansas City, MO 64133. Friends and family may attend the blessing of Esther’s Final resting place at Mount Washington Cemetery: 614 South Brookside Ave, Independence, Mo.
