Well it appears that Missouri Governor Jay Nixon is “down with the struggle” as it were. Last week, in a much promoted You Tube video, Governor Jay Nixon promised vigorous prosecution of the Ferguson, Mo., police officer who shot and killed a local thug. This crafty news canine thinks the Governor is once again playin’ to his base in a lame attempt to curry favor with a specific demographic.

Governor Nixon, this news-dog thinks you of all people should know the definition of Due Process, especially given you were at one time the Attorney General of the state of Missouri. This lil doggie always thought it was the AG’s gig as the top law enforcement authority in the state to insure that every citizen received their rights guaranteed to them under the Constitution of the United States. Innocent until proven guilty ringin’ any bells Governor Nixon?

But now, in your five-plus minute video missive, you proclaim from on high that you’re judge, jury and executioner all rolled up in to one, throwing this veteran Ferguson Missouri Police Officer to the wolves despite the fact the left leaning media narrative was unraveling as you spoke. Throughout the entire video you demanded “justice.” And what about justice Governor Nixon? Who’s going to mete out justice for the small businesses that were firebombed, looted and destroyed these past two weeks by roving gangs of thugs? What about justice for this police officer and his family who will have to live with the mental anguish of taking a life, albeit in the line of duty?

For the record, this news-dog doesn’t think cops get up in the morning and say, “I’m going to kill someone today,” but that’s how this is being railroaded in the main stream media. Governor, you blindly jumped on that bandwagon by your actions and just put a bulls-eye on the back of every law enforcement officer in the state. Come election time, this news-pooch hopes those LEO’s will remember that.
