For my final ‘Discovering KC’ adventure, I decided to explore the cultural side of the city, which led me to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. With its numerous collection of contemporary, modern and ancient art Nelson-Atkins was my favorite place. The museum is free of charge because it believes everyone should be able to witness beautiful art. I found myself enjoying the sculpture garden, and even laid beneath a large aluminum tree staring at the sky. It truly was a wonderful place to explore for my last stop as I discovered Kansas City.
