It’s that time of year again when disc golfers from all over the country visit Kansas City for the 39th Annual Wide Open disc golf  Tournament sponsored by the Kansas City Disc Golf Association and the Professional Disc Golf Association.

Over 425 players will play on five local disc golf courses over the next three days including the Cliff Drive course in historic Northeast, Hodge Park in Liberty, and Water Works Park in Kansas City North.

Chris Timko, President of KCDG was pleased about being back in Historic Northeast. ” The community is always so supportive and the Cliff Drive course is always challenging, especially on a windy day like today,” Timko said after he tee’d off on Hole 5 near the reservoir in Kessler Park.
