Sunday, OCTOBER 16 – Pendleton Heights Orchard Fest at Lexington and Ord from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food, fun, and puppets! The Stone Lion Puppet Theater will perform its show Down the Drain at noon. We’ll have a pumpkin patch, amazing raffle prizes, crafts, and a costume swap just in time for Halloween.


Saturday, OCTOBER 22 – Join us for the Cliff Hanger 5K, 10K, Walk & Kids Fun Run! All runners will receive a Cliff Hanger Shirt, finisher medal, custom bib, free photos, and cinnamon rolls after the race! Starting and finishing at The Colonnade on the Concourse, passing The Kansas City Museum, historic homes, the waterfall on the bluffs, and traversing along historic Cliff Drive, the only urban state-designated scenic byway. Saturday, OCTOBER 22 – The Kansas City Museum’s Ninth Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration will explore the history and cultural traditions of Mexico. This year’s celebration is presented in partnership with the Mattie Rhodes Art Center, Crossroads Hotel, TICO Productions, Stone Lion Puppet Theatre, Mi Mercado Fresh Market, Artists Craftsman KC, and La Mega KC radio.
