12/5: Independence Boulevard Christian Church at 606 Gladstone Blvd. invites you to tour nativities of the world from 135 different cultures. Come and go between 12:30 and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Free to all, donations accepted for their historic building’s capital campaign. Hot cocoa and cookies served outside, masks required inside.

12/6: Fruition KC Community at Independence Boulevard Christian Church 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday in the sanctuary 1st Monday—Community Organizing with MORE2. Micah Ministry free hot “to-go” meal, hygiene products, clothing, additional food items, free medical clinic, Stimulus check support and items to support houseless neighbors 5:30 – 7 p.m. Fruition Worship every Monday 6:45 – 7:30 p.m.

12/9: Northeast KC Chamber invites you to a Coffee, Culture and Conversation Meet up at the Don Bosco Community Center, 526 Campbell St., for a complimentary cup of coffee & sweets. We will have a very special “Santa” as a guest. Join us from 10 to 11 a.m.

12/10: Celebrate the first chapter of The Arts Asylum with tours and happy hour in a toast to 1000 E. 9th Street. Tours offered from 2-4 p.m., happy hour and remarks from 4-6 p.m. Please RSVP to Evie@TheArtsAsylum.org.

12/12: Weekly Indian Mound Park clean up from 9:30-11 a.m., weather permitting. Bags, gloves and cleaning supplies provided by KCMO Parks and Recreation Dept. Focusing on areas near Cliff Drive Gate 4, Gladstone & Brighton, Gladstone & Topping. Meet at Indian Mound Park, Gladstone Blvd. and Belmont near the stone wall.

12/13: Fruition KC Community at Independence Boulevard Christian Church 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday in the sanctuary. 2nd Monday—Live Music with Geoffrey Wilcken, professional organist for jazz and variety of music. Micah Ministry free hot “to-go” meal, hygiene products, clothing, additional food items, free medical clinic, Stimulus check support and items to support houseless neighbors 5:30 – 7 p.m. Fruition Worship every Monday 6:45 – 7:30 p.m.

12/3-24: Merry & Brite! A holiday pop-up bar experience is at PH Gallery, 2200 Lexington Ave., on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations only. Get your tickets at www.ph.coffee

12/18: BREAKFAST WITH SANTA at CALVARY TEMPLE CHURCH in the Fellowship Hall, 5607 St. John Ave. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Free breakfast and a free gift for every child from Santa.

12/20: Fruition KC Community at Independence Boulevard Christian Church 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday in the sanctuary. 3rd Monday—Public Leader Q&A with Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw, Chair of KC Homeless Task Force.
