City representatives hosting Neighborhood Sewer Rehabilitation public meeting

KANSAS CITY – Join representatives from the City of Kansas City to discuss an upcoming sewer infrastructure project in your neighborhood. When complete, this project will help protect the community’s environment by reducing the frequency of sewer overflows and basement backups in the area.

Join the conversation to learn about plans to:

– Restore approximately 74,000 linear feet of aging sewer main

– Restore approximately 75 manholes and 1,050 service lateral connections

– Meet regulatory requirement of Kansas City’s federally mandated Consent Decree

The public meeting will be held Monday, February 11th at 5:30 p.m. at Avenue Family Church, located at 522 Jackson Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64124. Refreshments will be served.
