KANSAS CITY, Missouri — BikeWalkKC is asking for your help locating some missing bikes.

On Monday, Oct. 13, a trailer holding bicycles used for fifth and sixth grade safety education classes was broken into at Whittier Elementary, 1012 Bales Ave. About nine new Trek bicycles were stolen, along with a blue tool box and red bicycle pump. Property of Whittier Elementary was also damaged.

The trailer, bikes and other contents are owned by Children’s Mercy Hospital and are used to teach bicycle safety education programs.
