From the moment patrons step into 7th Street Casino, luck will be on their side.

When most people think of casinos, they think of slot machines, table games and buffets. But there is something more to it than that – luck. It’s that opportunity for patrons to go home feeling like they’ve experienced an evening of entertainment well worth the money spent, as if luck was truly on their side.

Where other casinos tend to miss the mark, 7th Street Casino lives up to its motto, “More Winning, More Often,” by offering gamers a payback of 95 percent.

Located just across the Lewis and Clark Viaduct in the bustling downtown at 777 N. Seventh St. Trafficway, Kansas City, Kan., 7th Street Casino is a place where the service staff actually greets you with a warm, friendly smile. They look forward to seeing new faces and appreciate the loyalty of their returning clientele.

Wyandotte Gaming, 7th Street Casino’s parent company, wanted to play a larger role in the revitalized Kansas City, Kan., downtown landscape. In 2006, the company negotiated the sale of the old Scottish Rite Temple at Seventh Street and Ann Avenue, near the Huron Indian Cemetery. What followed was a $21 million restoration to the exterior and an adaptive re-use of the interior space. The casino now offers more than 20,000 square feet of gaming space spanning three floors, featuring over 600 of the most compelling and exciting slot games.

Marketing Manager Jerrell Royal said one of the most important aspects of building loyalty with customers is developing promotions that engage and provide more opportunities to win. The casino offers weekly tournaments, promotions and events to keep the atmosphere fun and entertaining.

“We truly believe that everyone wants a chance to win, and we want to offer our patrons the best experience so they’ll have fun and come back to see us,” Royal said.

The casino is also excited to be a qualifying location for the TournEvent of Champions slot tournament finale in October, in Las Vegas, Nev. More than 70 casinos nationwide are participating as qualifying locations. Guests can win a golden ticket through one of 7th Street Casino’s weekly slot tournaments or promotions. The golden ticket is their invitation to compete in a slot tournament Friday, July 25, 2014, at the casino. There will be one guaranteed winner from 7th Street Casino who will win a trip to Las Vegas, where they will compete for over $500,000 in cash prizes. The first place winner of the national tournament will go home with $200,000.

The casino also features the Casino Café, a great place to grab lunch, dinner or a snack. The Café is home to a great selection of menu items featuring daily specials for $4.95 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Café is located on the first floor and has ample seating.

Since opening in 2008, the casino has been active in the community, supporting a myriad of events, including the KCK Blues Festival, the Strawberry Hill Festival, an annual golf tournament and the Stride for Life 5K walk/run that benefited Wyandotte County Charities and KU Medical Center. This year’s Stride for Life will be held April 12, at Pierson Park in Kansas City, Kan., and will benefit the Due West Therapeutic Riding Center. The annual charity golf tournament will be held this September.

Simply put, when looking for a place that offers “More Winning, More Often,” and a personable gaming experience, 7th Street Casino delivers.
