KANSAS CITY, Missouri — On April 18, law enforcement officers from around the Kansas City, Mo., area will join forces with three area “Corner Café” restaurants for the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Missouri.

From 8 a.m. – noon, officers from the Kansas City Police Department, Riverside Department of Public Safety, Liberty Police Department, Pleasant Valley Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Platte County Sheriff’s Department, Kansas City Airport Police, BNSF Railroad Police, Independence Police Department, and the Oak Grove Police Department will help the regular wait staff with taking orders, serving food and cleaning tables at each of the three restaurant locations.

The “Corner Café” locations are:

  • 4541 N.W. Gateway Ave., Riverside, Mo.
  • 8301 N. Flintlock Road, Kansas City, Mo.
  • 4215 S. Little Blue Parkway, Independence, Mo.
