Check out North-East Public Library’s “Million Dollar Movie” at 10 a.m. at the library, 6000 Wilson Rd. Refreshments are provided.

Teen Book Club
Love to read? Join North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., at 4:30 p.m. to discuss this month’s books. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Indian Mound Craft Group
The first meeting for the Indian Mound Craft Group will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd. All experience levels are welcome. Crafts will include knitting, sewing, scrapbooking and others. Bring your creativity and voice your vision for the group.

Story-Time and Craft
Join North-East Public Library for its weekly story time and craft at 10:30 a.m. This story time group promotes literacy in children with the participation of caring family members.

Saturday, March 17

VFW Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner
The VFW Aux. 9997 will serve a corned beef and cabbage dinner from noon until the food runs out. Cost is $6 for the dinner and $3 for a reuben sandwich. The event will be held at the VFW, 6801 Wilson Rd., Kansas City, Mo.

Sunday, March 18

St. Joseph’s Table
Holy Rosary Church will host its St. Joseph’s Table on March 18 and 19. The charity fundraiser will be held at the church’s Scalabrini Hall, 910 Pacific Avenue, Kansas City, Mo. March 18 will include a blessing of the table after the 11 a.m. mass and a viewing of the table until 6 p.m. March 19, there will be a special mass at 10 a.m. and a Pasta Milanese dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free donations will be accepted. Carry-out is $5. Homemade cookies and pastries will also be for sale.

Hard Hat Tour
Take a 90-minute tour of Corinthian Hall, the more than 100-year-old home of lumber baron Robert A. Long and his family, with Museum Director Christopher Leitch. Tour members must wear closed-toed shoes and children must be accompanied by an adult. Tour begins at 12:30 p.m. at the museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd. and costs $5. Advance registration is required. Indian Mound Neighborhood Association Meeting
Indian Mound Neighborhood Association will host its monthly meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North-East Public Library.

MAP Workshops for Parents
Kansas City Public Schools will host a series of Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) test workshops to help parents prepare their children for the MAP tests. The first workshop will be held Monday, March 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Manual Career Tech Center, 1215 E. Truman Road, Kansas City, Mo. Dinner and child care will be provided.
