Teen Game Night
Join in at the Northeast Library on the first Thursday of every month to play board and video games. They will have a PS4, Xbox 260, and a WiiU to play with! This event will be held Thursday, April 4th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm at 6000 Wilson Rd. This event is appropriate for ages 12-18.

Northeast Book Group
Come to the Northeast Book Group each month to share your passion for books and join in on riveting book discussions. This month the group is discussing Another Day in the Death of America by Gary Younge. This event will be held Sunday, April 7th from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at the North-East Library Branch.

Eleos Volunteer Info Session
Spend an evening learning about the opportunities for impact with Global FC at the Volunteer Information Session! This event will be held Tuesday, April 9th from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Eleos Coffee House at 3401 Independence Avenue.

Experiencing KC Opportunity Zones
Participants will learn about the benefits of utilizing Opportunity Zone incentives applied to residential and commercial development projects with Northeast Kansas City and other urban Kansas City locations. Economic development staff from Representative Cleaver’s Office and other KC professionals will lead this interactive discussion. This event will take place April 10th from 10am to 12pm at the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce (2657 Independence Avenue).

Third Fridays
Join in every third Friday from 4pm to 9 pm as the Northeast Chamber of Commerce gathers unique pop-up shops, fashion masterminds as well a featured artist every month, all with a Northeast KC flair! They’ll have drinks and music to mingle – so hang out, meet some cool people and spend some time in Northeast! This event will be held Friday, April 19th at 2657 Independence Avenue
