Northeast Library Story Time
Join the Northeast library branch every Friday at 11am for singing, dancing, stories and fun activities that activate your little one’s brain! Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers age 0-5. The Northeast Library is located at 6000 Wilson Avenue.

Indian Mound Neighborhood Association
Due to the President’s Day holiday, the Indian Mound Neighborhood Association is meeting this month on Saturday morning at 10:AM at the new Healing House facility located at 4505 St. John Ave. Brunch will be served.

JVS Global Garden Class
Jewish Vocational Services Global Gardens program develops garden spaces from vacant lots and empowers refugees to grow food, beauty, and connections in the Historic Northeast Kansas City. The program goals are to increase healthy eating, increase exercise, and decrease social isolation. JVS Global Gardens provides land, water, resources, and education for refugees to grow culturally specific vegetables and fruits for their family, friends, and neighbors. Come to the Global Garden Class Saturday, February 16th from 8:30 am to 12pm at the Northeast Chamber of Commerce at 2657 Independence Avenue. Free Tax Preparation at Northeast Library
Learn how to e-file and get tips for getting the biggest refund possible from expert volunteers at the Northeast Library (6000 Wilson Avenue) on Saturday, February 16th from 10:30 am to 12pm. This is available for free to those making under $66,000 per year.
