Letter to the Editor: Correction to past postcard

Dear Editor,
In the Historic Northeast Postcard Section of the Northeast News dated November 30, 2016 was the article on Cemetery Vaults at Forest Hill Cemetery. The article makes mention of Mayor Bartle, Satchel Paige, Tom Pendergast and even Confederate General Joseph Shelby being buried at Forest Hill Cemetery. However, no mention was made that Robert A. Long and his family whose home was Corinthian Hall now the Kansas City Museum, are also laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Sincerely, Janet McGuire, Kansas City Museum employee.
