KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The community is invited to Pendleton Heights this Saturday, December 3, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the neighborhood association’s 10th Annual Pendleton Heights Homes Tour.
This year’s tour will feature nine homes previously featured during past tours, as well as one home that is currently a work in progress. Many of the previously featured homes have also undergone major renovations since the last time they appeared on the tour. Tickets for the annual event are $12 in advance, and can be purchased at pendletonheights.org. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased for $15 at Kansas City University’s Butterworth Alumni Center. Tour proceeds will benefit the Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association, and 10% of that will be donated to Legal Aid of Kansas City.
The 10th Annual Home Tour isn’t the only event happening in Pendleton Heights on Saturday – a Pop Up Art Market will also be held in the neighborhood from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
“In addition to the open homes, we’re celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Pop Up Art Market – hosted at the Butterworth Alumni Center at KCU this year,” said Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association President Jessica Ray. “The line up of local artists is the best yet!”
Ray further noted that the neighborhood association has made plans to ensure that tour attendees will not go hungry during the event. Food trucks will be located along the 500 block of Olive, next to Raygun’s popup shop at 546 Olive. Participating vendors include Derr’s Weiner Wagon, The Waffler, and Marco’s Street Tacos.
For more information, visit the Pendleton Heights Facebook page or the neighborhood association’s web site at pendletonheights.org.
