Last Saturday, Feb. 20, a monthly Pop-Up Yoga session was held on the lawn of the Kansas City Museum. The event was originally scheduled to take place inside the Kansas City Museum, but with temperatures reaching into the 70s, the session was relocated to the lawn of the museum. With this unnaturally warm weather for February in Kansas City, around 200 people showed up for this donation based yoga session. Lauren Leduc, the instructor for the event, started these Pop-Up Yoga sessions in March 2015, on the Lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum. She has since hosted them at various venues around Kansas City, including last month at Union Station.
