KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Snyder’s thanked its shoppers and Northeast residents for their business with games and festivities the day before the Fourth of July.

Snyder’s held their 43rd anniversary sale this past Friday, July 3. While being able to eat free ice cream sandwiches, many people were also given the opportunity to ride on a pony. The event was free to the public. La Poderosa, Kansas City’s Spanish language radio station, aired the event live.

Jerry James, owner of Snyder’s, located on 2620 Independence Ave., said they held the anniversary event because they were trying to offer something good to the community for supporting Snyder’s super market for the past 43 years.
