KANSAS CITY, Missouri —If you plan to visit the Kansas City Museum this weekend, you’ll see more than museum exhibits.

Visitors will also be treated to an International Marketplace Fashion Show — hosted by Independence Ave Community Improvement District [CID], Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Historic Northeast Events, and KC Museum.

From 4 – 6 p.m. Saturday, June 20, an international marketplace fashion show will take place on the front lawn of the Kansas City Museum. The event will also celebrate World Refugee Day, as community members from around the world will be modeling their own international apparel from their native country. The models will also share stories of their backgrounds to attendees.

The show is free and open to the public and appropriate for all ages.
