Last weekend, Northeast neighborhood associations teamed up to collect trash and tires from Kansas City residents. Along the Concourse, and stationed at Budd Park, garbage trucks were parked to collect trash, yard waste and bulky items. A tire disposal trailer was also made available, and by 9:30 a.m., had collected over 700 tires. If you weren’t able to stop by and have old paint, lawn and garden chemicals, automobile fluids, pesticides, batteries, or other hazardous waste, you can drop-off the materials at 4707 Deramus Ave., for free.
