Tying the knot. Instead of its usual flea market vendors, this past weekend, the City Market’s heated glass pavilion in the City Market Square played host to 12 couple looking to get hitched on Valentine’s Day. The seventh annual event offered free wedding ceremonies to couples on one of the most romantic days of the year. The ceremonies included live acoustic music, twinkle lights, sparkling hearts, a red carpet, an elevated ceremony platform, and seating available for friends and family. Each ceremony took place every 15 minutes, from 4 – 7 p.m. Couples include: Abby and Cory Lear, Heather and Luis Martinez, and Bonnie and Mike Raper. Each participating couple also received a small gift, courtesy of the River Market, as well.
