Dear Editor,

I am a resident of the Northeast that is concerned about the way our community is being represented in the “Buzz” column of the Northeast News. There are repeated themes of prejudice represented that do nothing but ignite even deeper divisions within our community. Please consider rethinking “operative” words and hurtful stereotypes which do nothing to build the healthy, thriving community we all hope for in the Northeast. If you would be interested in entering into a deeper conversation about the importance of this issue, I would be happy to meet with you for a discussion.
