KANSAS CITY, Missouri — City officials are advising motorists to use caution while traveling along Chouteau Parkway and the Crossroads area tomorrow night, July 12.

The Northland Hot Trot takes place from about 8 – 10 p.m. Saturday, July 12, and will temporarily close Chouteau Parkway between Northeast 42nd Terrace and Armour Road/Hwy. 210. Please use caution and obey all posted detours, barricades and no parking signs. Police are prepared to allow motorists to cross the routes when they deem it safe for race participants.

On the other side of town, Rock the Crossroads takes place from about 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12, and will temporarily close the following streets:

-East 15th Street, between McGee and Campbell streets
-East 16th Street, between Campbell and Oak streets
-East 17th Street, between Oak and Campbell streets
-East 18th Street, between Locust and Charlotte streets
-East 19th Street, between Campbell and Cherry streets
-East 20th Street, between Cherry and McGee streets
-Charlotte Street, between East 17th and East 18th streets
-Campbell Street, between East 15th and East 19th streets
-Cherry Street, between East 19th and East 20th streets
-McGee Street, between East 20th and East 15th streets
-Oak Street, between East 16th and East 17th streets
