Egg hunts a huge success

Earlier Easter day, around 5,000 candy-filled eggs were spread across Concourse Park for children to find. They kids even got a little help from the bunny that left the eggs behind. Contributed photos.

The hunt for red eggs. This past weekend, area neighborhood associations held Easter egg hunts around the Northeast area. Pendleton Heights resident and hunt coordinator Sara Motsinger said the Easter Egg hunt gets bigger every year. Leslie Caplan, president of the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association, said nearly 300 area residents turned out for the hunt.
