Daniel Kiesling

Daniel Kiesling, 59, died March 5, 2014. Visitation is from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at the Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road. The funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Park Lawn Funeral Home.

 

Harvey F. “Friendly Frank” Green

Harvey F. “Friendly Frank” Green, 86, went to be with the Lord, March 13, 2014. Frank was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Gallatin, Mo., to Harvey Lee and Nanny Belle (Nichols) Green. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve serving from 1948 to 1953. He was owner and operator of Northeast Auto Supply from 1956 to 1993.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 22 years, Wilma M. Green; grandson, Jay Jenkins; siblings, John Green, Jim Green, Ezra Lee Green, Harley Nichols and Hazel Irene Davis. He leaves his children, CSM (r) David F. Green, Cindy S. Green-Webb, Linda C. Jenkins; grandchildren, Jodi, 1SG Ricky, SFC David Matthew, Shianne, Sarah, Angela, Stephanie and Patrick; and 11 great grandchildren.

 

Leona Shamrell

Leona Shamrell, 94, passed away on March 15, 2014.

Leona was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Kansas City, Mo., to Vincenzo and Vincenza (Monteleone) Lombardino. She leaves her daughter, Sue Shamrell Willard and her husband, Bob; grandchildren, James Willard, Christy Bamman (Chris), Mandy Sappington (Scott) and six great grandchildren. Arrangements can be made with the Park Lawn Funeral Home at 816-523-1234.

Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday, March 19 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, Mo.
