All You Can Eat Chili

Blue Valley Kiwanis Club will host an All You Can Eat Chili Day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Blue Valley Salvation Army building, 6618 Truman Rd., Kansas City, Mo. Cost is $7 and includes dessert and a drink. Take-out is available. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Historic Northeast charities.

Story Time and Craft

Join North-East Public Library for its weekly story time and craft at 10:30 a.m. Parents and kids will enjoy stories geared toward toddlers and pre-schoolers. Get ready for songs, tongue twisters and dramatic play.

Creative Hand Show & Sale

Historic Northeast’s Rebecca Koop will be featured during the Creative Hand Show & Sale, which will be held on Nov. 22-23. Koop’s pottery, along with other artists’ handmade creations, will be on display from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 22 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the Old Shawnee Town Hall, 11600 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kan. Youngsters ages 7 to 13 are invited to visit the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., at 1:30 p.m. for Kids Team up for Art. Youth will create art with professional artists, and the artwork will later be displayed at the library.

Pendleton Heights will host its 7th Annual Holiday Homes Tour on Dec. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. Pick up a map and booklet or pay for tickets at 546 Olive St. on the day of the tour. In addition to a variety of food trucks, there will also be an artist market. Five homes will be featured on this year’s tour.
