Annette K. Floyd Mercer

Annette K. Floyd Mercer, 45, of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Mo. 

She was born July 12, 1968, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of John and Kathrine (Workman) Floyd. She grew up in Independence, Mo., and made her home in many locations throughout the country: Arkansas, Arizona, Nevada, California and Ohio, before moving to Warsaw.

She is preceded in death by her father, a daughter, Annamarie Curnett and her aunt, Terry Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Dan Mercer; two daughters, Danielle Curnett, of Warsaw and Savannah Curnett, of Wellsville, Ohio, one son, Dalton Mercer, of Warsaw, four step-children, of Blue Springs, Mo., Johnny Floyd, of Warsaw and Shawn Floyd, of Kansas City, an aunt, Sherri Bell, of Wesley, Ark., her nieces, Nicole Floyd, and Nicolette Foster, nephew Johnny Floyd Jr., her cousins and many friends, who all love her dearly.

Memorial services for Annette Mercer were held on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at the Cedar Baptist Church, Warsaw, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations for medical expenses. Donations may be sent to 31766 Cedar Grove Ave., Warsaw, MO 65355.
