KC Museum Kids Summer Drop-ins
This summer, drop in with your kids for games, music, stories and arts and crafts. Each drop-in will feature a different historical theme. This week’s set of summer drop-ins will be held on July 17 and 19 from noon to 3 p.m. Cost is free. Summer Drop-ins will be held every Wednesday and Friday in July and August.

Adult Thursday – Movies
Join other adults at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., Kansas City, Mo., for a movie on the library’s big screen at 10 a.m.

Story Time and Craft
Join North-East Public Library for its weekly story time and craft at 10:30 a.m. Parents and kids will enjoy stories geared toward toddlers and pre-schoolers. Get ready for songs, tongue twisters and dramatic play.

In the Pink of the Evening Concert Series
Up next in the Pink of the Evening Concert Series is Kansas City jazz artist Shey Estes who will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Colonnade building at the Concourse Park, St. John and Gladstone Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. There is no cost to attend. Please bring your own blankets or lawn chairs.

Computer Class
North-East Public Library will host a computer class at 10:30 a.m. and will teach attendees how to sign up for a free email account and about the ins and outs of sending and receiving email as well as how to organize your messages.

Serengeti Steve
Check out Serengeti Steve at the North-East Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Serengeti Steve performs more than 600 shows a year throughout the country and has been featured as a Las Vegas finalist on NBC’s hit show America’s Got Talent. His talents have also earned him a place in the famous Guinness Book of World records. Various reptiles and arachnids from around the globe will be brought to you in a comical and fun-filled hands-on experience.

Mattie Rhodes Art Camp
Mattie Rhodes will host Session 3 of its arts camp July 30 through Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for ages 5 to 12. The fee includes all materials, snacks and a T-shirt. To register and for more information, visit www.mattierhodes.org.

Kansas City Career Fair
A career fair for professional sales, retail and management will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 24 at the Embassy Suites Kansas City – Plaza, 220 W. 43rd St., Kansas City, Mo. The event is free to job seekers. Please dress professionally, bring copies of your resume and be prepared to interview with hiring managers on site.

Wimpy Kid Club
Come and celebrate your favorite series at the North-East Public Library at 5 p.m. July 24. The Wimpy Kid Club is open to ages 8 to 12 and activities will include reading from the book, acting out scenes, craft time and playing games.
