Six-year-old Khilee Hunter visits with Santa at the Don Bosco Senior Center Dec. 15.

Don Bosco Senior Center hosted Christmas-themed activities Dec. 15 for seniors and their families.

The Christmas party included visits with Santa, lunch, gift distributions, and arts and crafts.

Thanks to the Holiday Friends campaign and the generosity of the Kansas City community, $8,000 was raised to provide Christmas to needy seniors and their grandchildren in the Historic Northeast community who otherwise would not have been able to have Christmas. Photos by Leslie Collins
