Trick-or-Treat. Youngsters from across the Kansas City metro attend Scare-It Halloween Oct. 31 in the Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood. The Kansas City Museum counted 3,874 youngsters at the event. According to event organizer Amanda Stinger, 15 houses in Scarritt participated, handing out approximately 72,000 pieces of candy. In addition to trick-or-treating, there were four inflatables, KC Zombie Walk for Hunger, Ghostbusters, a kiddie train, the Museum’s Fairy Princess Costume Contest and more.
