Today is the last day to register to vote in Missouri in the Nov. 6 general election.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 152,000 Missourians have registered to vote.

Missourians can register to vote in person at their local election authority’s office or visit www.GoVoteMissouri.com to view different options for registering either in person or by mail. A mailed voter registration application must be postmarked by the Oct. 10 deadline to ensure a voter is eligible to vote in the general election.

Currently registered voters who have moved or changed their names need to update their registration information with their local election authorities. This will ensure that voters go to the correct polling place and are listed accurately on the voter rolls on election day. Voters can confirm they are registered at the correct address by using the “Check Your Voter Registration” tool available at www.GoVoteMissouri.com.

To be eligible to vote in Missouri, an individual must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen and a Missouri resident. Missourians who are 17 ½ years of age and will be 18 on or before Nov. 6 are eligible and encouraged to register before the Oct. 10 deadline.
