Trash pickup delayed for holiday

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day, and the City of Kansas City, Mo., offices will also be closed Monday, Sept. 3. The 3-1-1 Action Center, a division of the City Manager’s Office, will also be closed for the holiday.

Residents who usually have Monday trash collection will receive this service Tuesday, Sept. 4. Residents who usually have Friday trash collection will receive this service Saturday, Sept. 8.
