Once again, Lincoln College Preparatory Academy has been ranked as one of the top high schools in the state and nation by U.S. News & World Report.

Lincoln Prep received a Gold Award, the top honor, based on state proficiency standards, how well it prepares students for college, and other factors. The school was ranked third out of 13 schools in Missouri and No. 254 out of 22,000 schools nationwide by the magazine. It is the only school in Jackson County to receive the honor.

This is the first year Lincoln Prep has earned the Gold Award. The school has previously earned Silver and Bronze awards from the magazine.

Overall, Lincoln Prep has consistently ranked as one of the top high schools in the nation by several publications, including the Washington Post and Newsweek magazine.
