Grow Up Great Story Time
Check out North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., at 10:30 a.m. for the Grow Up Great Story Time. The half-hour story time for pre-school aged children will feature Sesame Street characters and teach about jobs, saving, value, and marketing choices. Presenters include Anna Francesca Garcia, Derrick Barnes, and Rob Herron III.

Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association will host a fundraiser for the neighborhood from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Brick, 1727 McGee St., Kansas City, Mo.
