Police say the driver of this vehicle is a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run.

Kansas City Police have identified the suspect and located the vehicle used in a fatal Monday night hit-and-run at 12th and Hardesty Avenue.

A 58-year-old man was found lying in the street with life-threatening injuries after 9:30 p.m. on June 13. The victim has now been identified as Brian Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri.

According to KCPD, he was determined to have either been hit by or fallen out of the southbound vehicle.

He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The victim was pronounced dead at Truman Medical Center on Tuesday morning.

This is Kansas City’s 54th fatality of the year, compared to 37 at this time in 2019.
