KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Ahead of the August 2 primary election, Missouri 19th District State Representative candidate Manny Abarca spoke with the Northeast News about prescription drug monitoring systems, the continuing threat of violence in Kansas City, and why he’s qualified to represent the 19th District.

The Northeast News also reached out last week to the campaign of fellow 19th District candidate Ingrid Burnett regarding this opportunity, and we received the following email in response: “I will have to decline the invitation to a video interview. I have looked at my calendar and task list, and am unable to fit this in on such short notice.”

Voting will take place between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on August 2.
