Summer
School Starts June 18
Enroll now for credit courses to catch up or
get ahead this summer session
Summer
is almost here, and the Kansas City, Missouri School District’s
Adventures in Literacy and Learning is now taking applications
for the summer term.
Our summer term runs from June 18 through July 20, 2007.
Summer is an excellent time for students to earn needed credits
in our refresher courses or needed credits through our enrichment
courses.
If your student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that
recommends Extended School Year (ESY), Summer School can be
a place where services are continued.
Select an exciting and challenging program in Language Arts,
Science, and Math, all taught by experienced instructors dedicated
to improving student success.
For a complete list of courses, see the Kansas City Missouri
School District’s web site at www.kcmsd.net
or contact the student admissions office here at the district.
This summer’s participating schools are:
Lincoln College Prep at 2111 Woodland Ave., Westport High School
at 300 E. 39th St., Fairview Anderson School at 1215 E. Truman
Rd., and Paseo Academy at 4747 Flora Ave.
Keep in mind that students that live more than 1.5 miles away
from their summer school site are eligible for free transportation.
Help your student realize their full potential this summer by
enrolling them in Adventures in Literacy & Learning.
